Blue primrose is a plant of moist meadows in Europe and Asia, growing naturally in river valleys, marshy meadows and damp woodlands. It is distinguished by its soft blue, bell-shaped flowers and feathery foliage.

In manor gardens, palemonas was used in naturalistic flower beds, often planted near water bodies or in damp areas.

In rural homesteads, it was considered a rare but very decorative plant, sometimes transferred from nature to nurseries.

In urban areas, it is used in park green spaces as an element of natural grassland.

Today, blue palaemon is valued in ecological and naturalistic landscaping for its light form and biological value.
