Chinese rattan is an ornamental plant native to East Asia that was widely cultivated in Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries. It quickly became one of the most important flowers of late summer and early autumn due to its large, colorful flowers and long flowering period.
In manor gardens, daisies were usually grown in representative flower beds, where the bright flowers formed colorful compositions. Due to the abundance of varieties, flower beds of various colors and shapes were created.
In rural homesteads, daisies were very popular for their beautiful flowers and suitability for bouquets. They were often grown near houses or in the main areas of nurseries.
In towns, hoops are used in decorative beds, public flower gardens, and for picking.
Today, Chinese rattan remains one of the most popular late summer flowers.
