Gaillardia is a North American prairie plant that is popular in Europe as an ornamental flower due to its bright yellow-red flowers. It adapts well to dry and sunny areas.
In manor gardens, gaillardias were used in summer flower beds as bright color accents.
In rural homesteads, they are valued for their unpretentiousness and long flowering even in dry summers.
Used in town green spaces in sunny beds and city flower beds.
Today, gaillardias are widely planted in naturalistic and dryland landscaping.
