Green Code Research

During the education, students, using special research kits, create plant “genomes” that determine their appearance – leaf shape, flower color and other characteristics. Working in teams, participants create different genetic combinations, observe their effects and analyze how the plant’s characteristics change. During the education, the importance of plant genetic diversity, its influence on the stability of ecosystems and biological balance, and the necessity of preserving rare and endangered plants are discussed.
