Astronaut plants

Astronaut plants

During the education, students, working in teams, create prototypes of ideas on how plants could help people survive on other planets. Participants analyze the role of plants in oxygen production, food supply, water filtration, and the use of medicinal properties in extreme conditions.

During practical activities, teams create "closed ecosystems" - modeling independently functioning life systems in which plants become the main element of survival. During education, creativity, systemic thinking and the ability to apply biological knowledge in the context of future technologies and space are encouraged.
